He has worked as project manager in several non-governmental organizations working about youth and disability. In addition, he is a youth trainer after the training he received from the unit of European Commission, SALTO-Youth EuroMed Resource Centre in 2012. He was the Founding Chairman of the Youth Organizations Forum, which was founded in Turkey with the mission of establishing the National Youth Council. He become specialized on youth participation, youth rights and youth policies. He is currently working as Projects Coordinator in the Future is Brighter Youth Platform.
During the workshop, answers will be sought for the questions of “Who is young?”, “What are the rights of youth?” The workshop will take place through the methods of non-formal education, focusing on the opinions and ideas of the participants. After discussing the point of view of youth and making definitions; youth rights and youth problems will be discussed in the light of these definitions. While the participants put their ideas on the question of “What are the human rights of young people?”; the differences that rights show in different socio-economic situations will be emphasized. In the workshop, youth rights and problems will be discussed with the emphasis on education and employment. The workshop will end with the consideration of the youth problems and their place in youth policies and discussion of the young definition of youth policies. A youth policy proposal about youth employment will be reported as the output of workshop.
