Biography

Program Manager | Institute for Youth Development KULT, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Five years of experience in working on youth employment programs, usually in cooperation with government institutions. She managed the initiative to adopt legislation that enables youth to gain work experience, participated in the activities of the working group for writing adult education laws, which provides youth with an opportunity for retraining and additional training. She managed a program for awarding funds to youth interested in launching a business; municipalities awarded funds and the Institute provided expert support throughout the process. Participated in developing criteria for awarding funds to youth through incentives offered by competent ministries. Held workshops on writing business plans in all municipalities awarding funds for launching businesses. I cooperate with representatives of youth organisations, representatives of ministries and international organisations (UNV, UNDP, OSCE, GOLD Project). Participated in working groups for a series of documents on youth employment, and coauthored the Analysis of possibilities of obtaining work experience for youth in FBiH with recommendations. I were a member of the working group for monitoring employment procedures in public institutions, as part of a USAID initiative, who produced the Analysis of employment policies in BiH. Worked on the analysis of the Programme for strengthening competitiveness on the labour market – first work experience, of the Federal Employment Agency. Trainer in areas of Civil activism and volunteering and Public advocacy and lobbying. Conducted trainings on those topics on behalf of the Institute for representatives of youth organisations and government in Moldova and West Bank (Palestinian territories).
