As expert in Program “Philosophy for Children” provide training for teachers. I am author and organizer of short-term schools for teenagers (national and international) based on non-formal learning. Main goal of these schools is values education. The topics of schools are different – “Philosophy”, “Ukrainian Culture”, “Religion Diplomacy”, “Cultural Diplomacy”. Usually children make projects for local community after participation at these schools. I am Alumni of Polish Government Scholarship Program in education field; made internship at Gyeongsang National University (South Korea) and participate in numerous international educational events (Turkey, USA, Romania, Lithuania, Georgia, Italy etc). My science interests – identity and historical memory.
Workshop name:“Peace of train”
Workshop “Peace of train” based on method Philosophy for Children (P4c) (author – Mettew Lipman, USA). This method develops critical, creative, caring thinking and Socratic culture dialog. During the P4c lesson students start to think about the key problems of human being, develop independent thinking and become more responsible in their own decisions. My goal of educational process is help for student to create civil consciousness. This methodology is effective as for University teachers although for NGO workers. It helps children and youth to make a good judgments, develop communication and language skills, find reason and arguments, educate respect to others opinions. Workshop “Peace Train” developed by Adjunct Professor of Yonsei University (South Korea) Fred Jeremy Seligson. In results of workshop participants demonstrate insightful, reflective thinking and a growing understanding of global issues.
